Tec-DC9 is a compact 9mm caliber submachine gun. Developed in the USA as a cheap clone of the Swedish MP-9, it operates with a blowback action and looks as if it was welded together in a garage—but it works. It became a symbol of inexpensive, yet dangerously effective weaponry. It was banned in the USA and is now primarily distributed through the black market.
