A strange artifact whose outer elements resemble parts of a tank. Scientists at Research Institute 7 are still puzzling over how the artifactogenesis process works, but the leading hypothesis is that it copies the structural forms of matter that may once have occupied the site of the anomalous field. At the same time, the substance the artifact is made of bears no real resemblance to metal, instead looking more like a cluster of microscopic crystals.
