The unusually precise shape of the Spiral draws the interest of many stalkers and spawns numerous myths about the artifact. For instance, diggers, while verifying one of the legends, discovered that when buried underground, the Spiral slowly twists itself, rising to the surface. Based on these experiments, some scientists conclude that the artifact is originally formed in the soil under the influence of Stasis, after which it digs itself up to the surface.
