The Berloga series containers, although convenient, remained quite bulky, which led to the creation of a new KZK series container. The engineers at the Research Institute 7 aimed to maintain compactness while expanding the containers capacity. The result of their work was the KZK-3 container, nicknamed "Hive" by stalkers.
