The Steyr AUG 9 mm submachine gun, also known as the AUG Para, was created based on the construction and design of the well-known Austrian assault rifle, the Steyr AUG 5.56 mm caliber. The main difference from the AUG assault rifle is that the Steyr AUG 9 mm uses pistol rounds.
