An army-issue cloak-tent, decommissioned from storage and modified by its owner for Zone conditions. Made of dense canvas fabric with a water-repellent coating. The material is heavy and does not “breathe” well, but reliably withstands wind and precipitation as long as the impregnation has not been washed out by rain. The surface is faded and worn down to the threads in places. There are signs of makeshift repairs: patches of mismatched fabric sewn on with thick thread, sections sealed with electrical tape or rubberized inserts. The edges are reinforced, but some of the eyelets are bent or replaced with wire rings—the fastening holds, but requires care.
